Stz’uminus Community School

The Community School serves students from grades five through twelve. Because of our low teacher turnover, we have a school community with educators who know both the students and their families. Our classes all have very low student-teacher ratios enabling better access to teacher support and personalized educational experiences.

“We listen to our students and our community to create the programs and spaces in our school that they want to learn in.”

Learning Outside the Classroom

Stz’uminus Education is excited to introduce a unique and powerful new program. Take a Hike can provide our youth with a fresh start and an opportunity to see themselves differently, building resilience ahead of a key transition time in their lives.

Culinary Arts with a Coast Salish Twist.

Whether students aspire to pursue a culinary career or just have a passion for food, they can now learn from a trained Red Seal Chef. This exciting program will provide real life cooking and catering opportunities.
